"Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable."

" The first impression upon entering reception (it's in the pub) is that you feel like you've walked into the crime series Midsummer Murder and are looking to find Barneby. "It was not made clear to me that breakfast was not available. the stud walls around Room 3 allowed lots of noise from the toilet and showers pumps, the shower had no grab rails with that slippery floor. the toilet paper made for a contortionist and the double bed in the alcove between the front wall and chimney breast would be difficult for a couple in the night. although spotless I was not impressed and will not return."

"Our hosts Sarah & Andy could not have been more welcoming - absolutely wonderful, friendly people who went out of their way to look after us. English breakfast was superb with fresh #Farm local eggs & all the trimmings. Lovely to hear owls hoot at night & bird song in the morning. The night skies full of stars.
