"Room was clean, bathroom nicely refurbished. Hate that the room fan only runs while actively heating, many of us sleep better with white noise from the fan. Breakfast was very good (waffles, ‘eggs’, sausage, but no Raisin Bran), the staff at breakfast attentive and helpful but instead of a news channel at breakfast it was some chamber of commerce public access advertising loop…bizarre and annoying after a day or two. Perfect location, just off the highway at the entrance to Acadia and easy...

"This motel has been very well maintained through the years. There were some nice updates and it was obvious there is a high standard of cleanliness. It is close to downtown and also the Acadia shuttle. We walked to breakfast one morning."

"We stayed 4 nights at the Days Inn Bar Harbor. The room was tidy. We used the fridge and coffee maker. Our small dog did fine and was well behaved :)"

"The owner was very friendly and kind. The room was beautiful but we were surprised to not have any parking options nearby or a bathroom in the room. The breakfast was delicious, but was definitely small portions and didn’t fill my husband. Overall though nice place. Just unfortunate the things that are challenging most likely can’t be changed other than the food. "
