"For a hostel it is a good choice, although we were there during off season and it was incredibly noisy. I can only imagine it during peak season. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but the cleaners and security guy were noisy at all hours. The onsite restaurant was awful, we had one meal and never ate there again. Thankfully the hostel is in a perfect location, on the most beautiful beach with lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby."

It goes without saying that Isla is not a luxury accommodation and therefore it’s not super comfortable (which we knew going into the trip) but unfortunately Isla is nothing like the pictures you see on instagram - the island itself is beautiful and it’s lovely to wake up listening to the waves but the huts, communal areas and areas around Isla are pretty dirty and poorly maintained. The service isn’t great and the food is also average...
