"First, you must have a car if you plan to stay in Haro. Transportation, including taxis, are extremely limited and difficult to use. This fact is even more so if you stay at Hotel ITC Ciudad de Haro. This hotel is about a 25-minute walk uphill to the downtown area and you must cross a highway, which we were told multiple times is officially illegal. "Hotel is in gas station. But it was clean, and not noisy. Staff were also friendly and helpful, and helped me stamp my Camino passport with their company stamp. Diner at the gas station also served tasty food at very reasonable prices."
