"The hotel has undergone a couple upgrades the last few years. I can tell it’s under new (and better) management. There is now shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel in the shower. The breakfast has been upgraded also. There are eggs and sausage now in addition to the other breakfast items."

"The staff was very friendly and efficient with a quick and easy check-in. I have read many of the reviews. For the people complaining, I am uncertain what guests were expecting for such a reasonable rate right in the middle of the historical area. The accommodations were nice with a comfortable bed, nice shower, working refrigerator, simple breakfast, and nice TV. The pool was relaxing and the area was quiet enough for a good night's rest. "My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. I’ve stayed at numerous other places in Gettysburg, but this one was by far my favorite. It’s easy access to everything in the downtown and the park. Makes it an excellent spot and well worth the price."

"Right off 81 this was the perfect stop for us. Bed was comfortable except the pillows were pretty flat. Our room was on the highway side so a bit noisy. I would try to get opposite side of hotel. Staff was great! Nicely updated and clean. I would stay there again but request a room on opposite side "
