"I was very surprised at the horrible conditions of this hotel. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express before it was a very nice experience. However, this DC East Andrew's AFB hotel is not good. The carpets in the hallways were smelly and dirty, and the room's carpeting was no different. The room smelled moldy, and the refrigerator did not work, so I had to call for maintenance. "Upon checking in the person checking my mother-in-law in was very rude, had an attitude, and didn’t speak or welcome us. That was a turn off after traveling for hour's!! Everything else was great!! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I’m not sure if I would stay there again because of the lady who was rude with the blue hair.. She needs a class on customer service for sure!!!"

"Booked a non smoking room but it was definitely smoked in. Ash trays on both sides of the bed. Wobbly desks and chairs. Shower curtain had red marks (not sure if it was blood residue or not), it was torn in multiple places. My clothes smelt like smoke for days even though I checked out same day. Pillows were not bed pillows but looked like couch decor pillows. Im still trying to get my refund but it is a NIGHTMARE!"

"Our room is shockingly awful. The appliances are dirty, primarily outside but I wouldn't use the microwave with a 10 foot pole. I always thought Hampton Inn and Suites was an upscale hotel. This looks like a Motel 6 or Super 8. I guess since it is pet friendly, it's assumed pet owners are dirty."
