" 1. Day manager insisted I pay in full to get access to room, even though I provided evidence of payment by Expedia. 2. Rooms smelled of paint or chemicals 3. Halls smelled of paint or chemicals 4. Day 2: No house keeping . I complained to manager - he said I needed to explicitly ask for housekeeping. 5. Towels smelled of smoke or chemicals 6. Day 3: still no house keeping 7. Elevator out of order in AM - my room was on 5th floor. "

"Excellent base for 8 nights while we visited our daughter nearby. Comfortable flat with everything we needed. We didn’t cook there but could have. Organic grocery store across the street and restaurants nearby. Also lovely and wonderful Broadway Market and Columbia Rd Market (Sundays) very close. Short walk north to Haggerston Overground station or south to Hoxton Station, plus several frequent 24/7 buses right outside. Wonderful walks along the Regents Canal, with lots of food/coffee/bakeries....
