"Don’t judge a book… from the road this hotel looked run down but it was one of the best of our trip! The back entrance deck has a hot tub, plants, hummingbird feeders, comfortable couches, etc. the room was huge with a microwave and fridge. The continental breakfast had excellent coffee and fresh juice, yogurt and pastries that must have been from a local bakery… no Sara Lee here! The owner, Joe is a wonderful person. Would definitely stay again!"

"Perfect location for a young family with little ones. Right on the lake and couple hundred feet to beach/boat rental , icecream, park, great food/drinks. It’s not brand new and could use a little updating but it was cozy and great bang for the buck. "

"Such a wonderful, old historic, hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the 1800s while staying in this hotel. I imagine Billy the kid or Buffalo Bill probably stayed at this hotel. Highly recommend and will stay there again if I'm ever going through Kremling."

"As adult ski bums, we tried out 4 Winter Park inns under $200/night in this season. Viking Lodge is our favorite and the least expensive. It is an old lodge and exactly what they advertise: a very basic room with private bath and a refrigerator. If you can enjoy an old fashioned ski lodge, this is a perfect place. (If you need glamour and upscale, this is not your place.) The room was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. There is no breakfast (same as 2 of the other lodges we stayed...

"I wished I could just say bad things to keep this my little secret but it is a business. With that said, this was my first and definitely NOT the last time I will be back. Just AMAZING is all I can say, caveat this is VERY off the grid so be prepared. I loved every quite second of it, I spent the first two days just up and down the mountain in my rented Jeep so I had just amazing views along with wonderful stay. I did leave a few days earlier than planned due to an rib injury I sustainade from...

"This condo was great and clean. We enjoyed the comfy beds and the full kitchen. It did not have air conditioning nor wifi so the rooms were hot. We parked our car right below the room and it was broken into so that was unpleasant. The daily rate was ok but we did not like the extra host fees tacked on."
