The hosts are extremely helpful, and offer transportation to/from ski rentals, slopes, restaurants, and hot spring/onsen for bathing. The host gave us recommendations for dining and we felt like we were at a 5-star resort with no worries. Very cozey stay for those seeking and enjoyable adventure to Zao Onsen. The advertisement said we would have a buffet breakfast but instead they served us breakfast in the room next door to us - which was beautiful and very nice. However we had the choice of 7:30 am or an 8 am breakfast, so if you want to sleep later don't order breakfast. My husband needed to stay until 12 noon for an online meeting, but check-out time is 10 am. They charged us 3000 yen to stay an two extra...
