"This hotel is located right beside Teesside Barrage so a lovely area. The staff at this orooerty are so nice and very friendly. The Talpor restaurant and bar right beside the hotel is excellent. The wait and bar staff are so friendly The food is excellent in this restaurant. We will definitely return on our next visit to the UK. We stayed Fiordland three nights the hotel was busy but the guests were considerate and quiet"

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."

"Was exactly what I needed, a place to stay for one night. Wasn't expecting ‘private bathroom’ to just be a sink in the room and a shared toilet but it was fine for one night."

"A very good country pub, good food and a very restful overnight stay. Highly recommended."

"Perfect room and location. We will book again next time we are in Whitby and recommend to friends too. The room only works perfectly, but dont leave your key in the room like we did!! Housekeeper was amazingly and came and let us in, thanks so much!! "

"Very nice room, recently renovated and very clean. All the amenities you need and steve (the host) goes out of his way to quickly remedy any issues. Stayed there for over 3 weeks in total now and its the only place id stay in Middlesbrough "

"In close proximity to many interesting sites and places. Close to the sea front. The hotel just gets the simple things that many other hotels surprisingly don't. These include having a dining area to eat and having drawers to put your clothes (instead of on the floor like I had to in the last 3 hotels I stayed in. Reasonably priced and definitely value for money."

"Small hotel but rooms excellent. Breakfast out of this world, spoilt for choice and beautifully cooked with local produce and home made bread. Charlotte and Karen can’t do enough to make your stay. "
