"At first, everything was great. Cute pool area, air conditioning was fantastic, nice room set up. We had an issue with the shower drainage, but that was fixed the next day. Communication via WhatsApp with whoever was on the other end was super fast and helpful. However, front desk wasn’t as helpful with our needs. And at times we felt ignored. "We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Chalets. We stayed in a superior room, which was spacious and perfectly clean, so was the bathroom. The location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the jetty and 2 or 3 minutes by bike but far enough to be quiet at night. You can direcly hire a bike when arriving on the jetty (it's normally 100 rupees a day) and the guy will carry your luggage to the hotel for free. The staff was really kind and the dinner we had one night at the restaurant was really good....

"This place is just ok. Hard to find as sign has been removed. Some things didn’t work. Breakfast is fruit plate (nice) and eggs and toast. We were able to leave bags after checkout. The staff is nice and helpful. Their credit card machine wasn’t working and site needed cash."
