"Nice hotel. We have stayed at Edgewater a lot down through the years. Close to the beach and shops. "

"Frustrating that there may not be a system to allow a hotel to inform Expedia that the hotel had no AC operating, all rooms. Still I checked out two available rooms, non smoking, but it had a srong smell of smoking being smotherrd by the stench of strong cleaner. No AC and that smell. The staff were exceptionally nice though. Not their fault. Seemed like a corporate failing. "

"For the price this was great, we did a quick over night and did not want to spend a lot, and we were very surprised when we walked into our room. It was nice and clean and staff was super nice. "

"Nicely up-dated room with everything functioning in good order. Front desk helped us extend our stay and provided map with dining recommendations. We breakfasted at House of Bread just across street. Walked or bused from Marsh & Archer into downtown SLO, enjoying Mission, Art Museum, History Ctr, and abundant shopping, plus Thursday night Farmers' Market."
