"This is such a special place to stay - a temple in a beautiful town in the mountains, incredibly comfortable and well looked after. We met some lovely people - both monks and other visitors. Our room had the most peaceful view too. We extended a night and I would absolutely visit again."

I expected a local Japanese family to welcome us because I was going to aske some advice and suggestions but it was a Chinese famly. So I did not ask them. Another thing we were not happy about was this Chinese lady asked my husband passport. She made a copy of it. Not only that I had to write my information on the paper and signed it.
