"The place was clean and quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Dining options were close by, easy drive to downtown, plenty of parking. Also easy driving distance to Wind Cave and Mount Rushmore.
We would stay there again."

"We visited the first week in May 2026. The first room they gave us, on the ground floor, had a window with a broken lock. The room also had poor lighting. They moved us to another room on the ground floor. The window locked but the door wouldn’t latch or lock reliably. The third room was fine. One of the staff said they just “took back the hotel” and were getting to know it. It definitely needs maintenance. The hot tub was in a separate building. We didn’t use it. The breakfast was limited to...
