Lovely boutique hotel in the old town, highly recommend it

We love staying at PR Tambre. The location is superb, the rooms are comfy and clean and the knowledge share by Eva always helps us to enjoy our visit. The staff is fantastic, very polite and friendly. Overall a great place to stay when in Santiago.

A small smart boutique hotel with a delightful garden on a quiet street next to the park and close to a fab Michelin restaurant. Excellent service. We did pay extra for a larger room.

A very hearty welcome by the proprietor and they even translated everything into English. Given a tour and they explained the local area and where to get breakfast which was in a different place. Breakfast was a good pilgrims breakfast which sets you up for the walk due the day. Very simple with freshly baked bread. With plenty to bulk up on including walnuts….

Great position to stay in Santiago after Camino walk

We've been to Santiago 5 times, staying in different places each time. This was the best accommodation by far. Great location, just a few minutes walk from the main square and cathedral, spacious, clean, very comfortable, quiet day and night. It even has a small terrace at the back. Great communication, with clear instructions on how to access the property.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, wonderful historic building, unbeatable location.

This was a really lovely place to stay on my Camino. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to use the washing facilities in the albergue of the same name next door. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, ready for the next morning’s walk.

My partner and I just spent three nights at this beautiful hotel in Santiago de Compostela. We were made very welcome, the staff are courteous and helpful. Our room was comfortable and meticulously clean. The location is very central to points of interest all within walking distance. Our experience there was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. I highly recommend staying at this special place.

You could not get a better location. 2mins from cathedral, 5mins to market, surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants but quiet road in comparison with nearby more tourist roads. Room was serviced every day and spotless! Looks newly renewed interior, bathroom etc and very comfortable. Room was compact but had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. Bathroom had plenty of space and all very well thought out. Be mindful on arrival that 1) if you catch the 1Euro bus from airport its a 20...

Very good breakfast and all day free hot drinks. Both staff at reception were very helpful. Would stay again and definitely recommend. Nice quiet area close to town centre

Property was obviously newly decorated and everything was new, only discomfort was the couch ( Ikea/Jysk?) not great to relax after a long day walking but a small complaint. Could’ve done with more towels as 1 hand and bath towel pp for a 3 night stay was insufficient. Other than that would definitely recommend and would book again.

This hotel is very close to the centre of the old city and the Cathedral. No shortage of places to eat nearby and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed and a good shower. A great hotel for the price.

Great value, friendly, spotless, really central hotel! Perfect for a few days sightseeing. The breakfast was very welcome too. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in the city!
