"The hotel location was perfect as far as distances between major cities. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly offering suggestions for sightseeing and eating. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The breakfast choices were excellent and they offered to make eggs any style if preferred. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Portugal "

"The 402 Hotel is an unique place. The owner welcomes you with home slipper and a big smile and everything feels like home. The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful colors, so has the living room, which is a little cozy corner of then house. The owner makes sure you are placed in the best spot, the kitchen and the bathroom are the most beautiful home/like rooms I have ever seen in a hostel! "Stop at this review and look elsewhere. Very confusing check in, thats if you can find the reception area. The bungalows are very outdated and worn out. A lot of mildew inside. Terrible sewage smell. "

"When we arrive was a town local band right inthe entrance and 3 tables with old people drinking and so.e people was fight. Was a scary town and scary town. We leave the town right away. Nothing like is in the google, Home app or boking app."

"The rooms and amenities are new and clean. But the standing shower lacks a space to put your toiletries. There should be a stand or box to put it. Otherwise you put it on the floor. The owner speaks minimal English. Not very helpful."

"I had the whole property to myself as I stayed on a weekday night! It was kinda scary as I was the only guest and it’s a big room and property. It’s very clean and comfortable. However, the lights went off shortly after I went into the shower room. As I’m not tall, the sensor can’t detect my moving arms so I ended up showering in the dark. I would recommend staying here when it’s slightly busy. "
