"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience, though there were definitely some highlights. The newly renovated rooms were absolutely fabulous, modern, clean, and very comfortable. They clearly put a lot of thought into the renovation, and it really shows.
However, the older part of the hotel could really use some TLC. It felt quite dated in comparison and didn’t match the standard of the newer rooms.

"Je suis obligée de mettre 4* car nous sommes restés une petite heure à la porte suite à un défaut du système électronique. Cependant la dame au téléphone était très professionnelle et sympathique. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient plus que propre. La literie de très bonne qualité et l’emplacement est ideal. "

"I stayed at Preston House last week. Hotels.com didn't send me the details on email as was outlined in the booking. I contacted the owner who was extremely helpful and gave me an upgrade and sent on all the details straight away. The house itself is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable and a really lovely place to stay. "Everything was good, except the breakfast. They don't have a "free breakfast" properly, they only provide some milk and cereal and you can use them to make your own meal, but it looks like a courtesy, not a breakfast. And the shower it a bit annoying, but it's pretty OK in general."
