"Very cool place to stay and friendly Staff as well!"

"Great communication before my stay, as I was arriving late. Instructions were left, and there were signs up the next morning allowing me to leave happily. I would stay again."

"Nice place to stay. We weren't there for long, only a night, but the staff seemed friendly and the room was nice"

"Piwaka Lodge is closed. We were moved to a 'sister' establishment. My ratings are based on that business. Owner and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was excellent. Our only real negative was the cleanliness which we found wanting. Great location near foreshore, town, bus stop and rental cars"

"Very sweet place."

"Room was great plenty of room and very clean"

"Good value backpacker accommodation for Cook Strait ferry connection. "

"Great place to stay. "

"Well equipped clean cottage. Would stay there again "

"The place was REALLY dirty and full of flies. It was full of long termers (really nice and friendly people) and it seemed fun place to stay if you were working somewhere close but as a traveller it wasn't so pleasant when the dorm room door was open and there were a lot of people from another rooms just hanging out.
