"Its dirty, old, rusted and outdated. I did not feel unsafe staying here but I had a companion traveling with me. The property definitely did not match the pictures. I booked the "deluxe" room that had air conditioning. The smaller rooms do not have air conditioning. The water was hot after a few minutes. Additionally, the uber would not drop us off at the hotel because there is some kind of "agreement" with taxis services that they will stay out of the downtown area so we were dropped off...

"The hotel is very primitive in every sense of the word. I booked my room through expedia and they didn't had my reservation. I paid for internet and I had not internet AND no tv. The doors seemed like anyone could open them with just a kick. I did not feel safe at all. "

"This place is a fraud, upon arrival to the Jolla del Mar there is no lobby or no one to give you access to the room. The telephone number on their website is to the leasing office which they have no information about your booking. The worst experience was with expedia, they couldn't help me get the room I booked through them or cancel the transaction even that I informed them about my situation and that I believe it was a fraud. "Don’t do it. We spent a whole lot of our vacation time trying to get a hold of the owner but NEVER got a response. Since it was a holiday weekend no rooms were available so we ended up sleeping in our car at a campground. Expedia tried getting a hold of the host and no luck either. Looked good in pictures but we will never know. "
