"The hotel is well situated, it took about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to town, on a nice day it's a pleasant stroll. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable.Tea and coffee facilities were also provided. The staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was tasty and reasonably priced. "We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. "

"It was a last minute booking due to our original hotel cancelling the evening before the Coldplay concert. It was adequate, clean and comfortable however extremely overpriced and clearly the hotel was taking advantage of people visiting for the concert. I looked and tonight the evening after the same hotel room is 185 cheaper. "
