"Lovely property, well positioned for visiting places nearby. Parking on site was spacious and well maintained. Pub next door was great and the food good. Communication with the owners was excellent and responses were very quick and helpful. The room (no. 14) was spotless and smelled wonderful as did the whole property!

"I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first experience of youth hostels in 40 years. I was impressed. I loved the open area, bar and restaurant. The dormitory was excellent. Beds were well spaced, ample plug sockets, mattress & pillows excellent. Clean sheets and super mattress. The bed was as good as any 5 star hotel. Honestly. The shower was clean but a little small. "I stay in hotels most of the year and decided to try something different , would highly recommend this apartment, really comfortable bed, large living room , modern bathroom with large shower,
Full kitchen equipped with everything you need, thought parking was going to be a problem but managed to park on the street close by

"Perfect quiet location not too far from shops and bars. A short journey to Bowness-On-Windermere about 5 minutes by car but very much walkable.
The space in the accommodation was huge absolute perfection"

"Overall we had a lovely time in Ambleside, the house itself was a bit grubby could do with a thorough clean, it said onsite parking on Expedia there is no parking it wasn’t a problem we parked in the village and paid £8 a day but shouldn’t be wrongly advertised, we tried to contact the property owners a couple of times about parking and the rubbish collection but still waiting for a reply, it is a lovely little house in a good location."

"I didn't actually get to stay there a key code was never sent so i had to make alternative arrangements and pay someone else for a room im now still waiting for a full refund no apologies or anything else so im waiting for a full refund off £450 thats what i want "
