"We were on ground floor by courtyard when we got there thought it would be a noise problem as people drinking out there in sunny weather. However on both nights all gone by 10. Staff very helpful, food good, would use again. food good would use again "

"Overnight stay at the Riverside for meeting the following day. Never stayed in a hotel no staff at hand - have to say the experience was fine - nice hotel, good parking, clean and spacious room and great shower - what more could you ask for."

"We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay at a traditional local hotel rather than a standard chain hotel. The hotel managers were very kind and well-mannered, and we were greeted in a friendly manner, which made us feel very comfortable. "We had Bybrook room,it was lovely, comfortable and clean. Food was very good. Stayed for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant every night. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would use again when up that way. Highly recommended."

"The hotel was located right on the Main Street and o we looked the river, that’s fabulous. The room was nice BUT NO A/C and our days and nights were in the 80s! The breakfast was lovely and a full English breakfast. They only have 4 parking spots, so beware! Parking every 90 mins was tricky. But after 6pm, shoppes closed. Must move car 8am! So, travel by train, then do the hiking. It worked out and we have a fabulous time"

"The Old Brewhouse offers a lovely garden which, in June, is in colorful full bloom. The garden is such a wonderful spot to sit, relax, read, or just mellow out in a beautiful environment. If there is rain, there is also a comfortable indoor space with large windows facing out onto the garden in which to sit.
