"Called craig for check in, was greeted with him with a blood all around his nose telling us hes not well and his girlfriend had noroviris. Don't think I've used as much hand santiser since 2020. Other was room looked good and spacious good for a night or two. Good location, The boathouse cafe over the road is a great too and just over road for for breakfast."

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...

"Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. "

"I have stayed before , it’s very cheap and it’s en suite , I would stay agsin for price - they have an issue in the loft pf the property with vermin either rats or pigeons I have noticed that every time I have stayed - the pub is nice and serves great food downstairs - the rooms just feel like an after thought and not really a hotel ."

"Great affordable student accommodation. The space was exactly as advertised. The kitchen worked well, and i was able to prepare my own meals. Excellent wifi and plenty of outlets in the space. One of the best accommodations I've stayed in, and far better than even my own university housing."
