"We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!"

"My family and I enjoyed our two nights at the lodge. The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are neat (though there was no toilet brush) and have got its own television. The kitchen also has a sitting area to relax, a dinning and its own television, all basic cooking utensils are available. Most importantly the gentle man in charge was reachable, responsive and respectful. If I were to visit Kings Lynn again I'll definitely lodge here."

"Nice little cottage. Great location for access to the coast. Great to have a parking space round the back of the property. Decor nice, well appointed kitchen. Some issues with cleanliness. Things just a little grubby. Had to wash crockery and glasses before using them. (It didn't spoil our stay) Lovely to have snacks and wine left for us on arrival. We would definitely stay again."

Holy Trinity church in Stow Bardolph. The Hare Chapel - almost as big as the chancel - can be seen at right. The church of the Holy Trinity > 1737301 is situated in a cul-de-sac, flanked by the old rectory which presently serves as a Preparatory school and Montessori nursery. Church Farm Rare Breeds Centre is a little further down the lane towards where the road ends, bisected by the A10 road. The church is of Norman origins and was extensively restored in the mid-1800s, the architect having been John Raphael Brandon. The church furnishings > 1737324 date from this time but the Charles II (1630-1685) royal arms > 1737336 is described as being one of the finest sets in Norfolk. The most noteworthy feature of the church is the Hare Chapel > 1737312 and the monuments it houses. The chapel was built by John Hare in 1642 as a mausoleum for members of the Hare family. Accessible via a door in the chancel south wall one steps into a light and airy room which houses a number of extraordinary monuments dating from the 17th to the 19th century > 1737355 - 1737351.
