"The room was ensuite and well equipped and we found the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We had the full English breakfast and were delighted with the high quality of the bacon etc. The swimming pool was heated and was available from early morning to late evening. The host -Craig - was always very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again whenever visiting that area of Devon. "

"This Hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. The room was was perfect for us, and the breakfast was with some great quality produce (bacon especially)! Staff were really nice and helpful too. Just there when you need them. No fuss. Highly recommended. "

"The location of this property is about as good as you could get for the beach and the harbour you don't need a car or taxis everything is within walking distance the room was good and ensuite and the breakfast was good and plenty of it "

"Oliver's is un a fantastic location just off the sea front. Oliver hinself is a wonderful host, always wanting to do everything to make your stay perfect. We had room 4, which is a great suze and overlooking the sea. Reaĺy clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast. Highly recommended."

"Single women review - I stayed in the single room for 2 nights. It was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of plug sockets for charging & straighteners etc, hangers and dressing table. The Clarence is exceptionally well-maintained. Immaculate infact. I normally stay in big hotels, and they could learn a thing or two from The Clarence. "First time booking and I am really looking forward to book again. The room is really comfortable and I was welcomed with a great cinnamon bun. Breakfast is great, with wonderful pastry.
