The hotel is at the top of Riomaggiore, so plan on using the 2 elevators (free QR code provided by the hotel) to go down 2 levels to the train station and the water. "We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "We stayed in an apartment for 2 nights. The apartment was ina separate building, but right down the road. It was so nice to have the extra space. It had a washer, so we were able to wash some dirty clothing. We bought washer pods at the laundromat right down the hill. The breakfast was great and very appreciated. Our apartment patio did not have a view of the sea, but the patio right down the road where breakfast is served had a beautiful view of the sea and coastline."
