"The hotel was located right on the Main Street and o we looked the river, that’s fabulous. The room was nice BUT NO A/C and our days and nights were in the 80s! The breakfast was lovely and a full English breakfast. They only have 4 parking spots, so beware! Parking every 90 mins was tricky. But after 6pm, shoppes closed. Must move car 8am! So, travel by train, then do the hiking. It worked out and we have a fabulous time"

"I would really recommend this pub for your stay in Oxford. The room I had was decent and the food i ate both in the evening (it has a predominant seafood menu with specials) and breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they were busy. "

"New modern accommodation. It’s fresh and clean and right in the centre of town. There are a few things that could do with being better, but that’s just our opinion. If clean modern fuss free is what your after the. This ticks the boxes. Things that could be an issue for some but we managed ok. "Great stay. Good communication with check-in instructions prior to arrival. Hotel was convenient for the railway station and town centre and all attractions were only a short walk away. Room was spotless and comfortable. We were grateful for the fan and fridge as it was quite warm"

"We arrived to be told they did not having a booking for us We never heard from the host after repeated phone calls. Anxiety provoking"

"A lovely room with fresh milk for the coffees on arrival. Very tasty homemade shortbread to go with that, too. A good sleep to round of a relaxing stay. Breakfast is later than we're used to, so a nice lie-in and glad we weren't needing to be leaving before 10am."

"We arrived a little early and greeted by Pauline who is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our suite (Tailors) was ready and we were able to check in. Everything was immaculate, including the lovely garden which has plenty of seating. Thoughtful provision of milk, orange juice, water, biscuits plus teas and coffee was very welcome after a long journey. Location to the characterful town of Woodstock is perfect, just a few minutes stroll and you are amongst the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants....

"This was perfect for us. It felt private yet connected to everything. Loved the welcome basket. Only a few minor changes like less scent in the entry and linens - although some may like that. We also had a little difficulty finding the place. Contact information provided got us sorted. We would stay here again for sure. "

"We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand."

"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "
