Anche se un albergo a 2*, non rispecchia per niente le pessime condizioni che di solito si trovano in altri ibis budget, e questo è il secondo ibis budget in cui ho alloggiato in questo viaggio, non c’è paragone. "Morcote is a world on its own - and the appartment is in the middle of it all with beautiful views of the lake and the passing cyclists and cars. Accommodation in Morcote is hard to find but well worth the effort. Spend time meandering up to the enchanting cemetery, or through the quaint narrow alleyways, or join the locals for an espresso and cornetto. Early mornings are magic, before everyone else wakes up."

"Très bon séjour, l'hôtel Spagna a sûrement connu des jours meilleurs mais c'est un bon 2 étoiles, pas cher et au centre de la vieille ville! Le gérant et son fils sont adorables, le petit déjeuner est copieux, et l'hôtel ainsi que Arona sont super pour rayonner autour du lac majeur. Seuls inconvénients: L'hôtel est un peu démodé, les oreillers durs, pas d'ascenseur et la cloche de l'église juste à côté sonne tous les matins à 8h00. "

"A nice hotel in the mountains near lake Como. Host and personnel are very friendly and speak English. Room, dinner and breakfast are good and overall it was an enjoyable stay. Please note that the road near the lake can be tricky with small passages and tight corners. I preferred taking the road inland from and to Como as this is an overall more relaxed drive. "

"Absolutely gorgeous ! Extremely peaceful - fabulous views and the family are so friendly and helpful . Rooms are extremely clean and well presented . It is a gem of a property and feels like it is stuck in a glamorous era of 50/60 s film stars visiting the area which is just stunning . We will be returning ! Just beautiful ! "
