"Beautiful views across the beach, with plenty of wildlife just outside your door. Staff are very friendly and always happy to provide some local knowledge of the surrounding area. Cabins have most of what you need with a spacious patio area for a lazy afternoon bbq. Showers can be a little tricky getting a consistent temp, so don’t expect any luxury in that department. "

Learn more about Wallaga Lake

Aboriginal culture thrives at Wallaga Lake, where you can join guided tours to learn about Yuin traditions and stories. Kayak across the peaceful waters or fish for bream, while nearby Gulaga Mountain offers sacred hiking trails.

I saw a photograph once, way better than this one, and decided I had to find out where it was.
Well, first up, it's not that easy to get there for a start. You either have to scramble down a corroding cliff or make your way around at low tide from the south (which is what most people do). Be prepared to get a little wet.
If the surf's up, forget it; it's way too dangerous, but if you get the right conditions, it's definitely worth a look.
