Learn more about Wood Islands

Board the ferry at this charming harbour village, where lighthouse tours and maritime history await curious travellers. Nearby beaches offer perfect spots for clam digging, while the Wood Islands Provincial Park provides scenic trails for afternoon exploration.

Just arrived by ferry at Prince Edward Island and we were greeted at the dock by these two marvelous lighthouses. The wonderful volunteer at the lighthouse stayed open and gave me an opportunity to climb the lighthouse to see the gorgeous sunset.
