"Quiet, clean, enough parking"

"Clean room, helpful staff"

"A cheap and cheerful night on the outskirts of Derby. The hotel is rather hidden away and not well signposted. I checked in, room was clean with tea/coffee available. The rooms are single storey, bungalow style There is parking right outside of the rooms"

"Room service from the main restaurant available. Room was pretty quiet overnight, bed was firm which was our preference"

"nothing good to say apart from friendly reception"

"It was ok generally but didn't have hot water at the sink. Shower was ok but sink not"

"Room was pleasant and ensuite was a bonus. Kind and helpful locals in bar. Breakfast not available which was disappointing. Would have liked a bedside lamp to read by."

"Lovely place, good value for money too"

"A handy spot in the center of town. Only discrepancy was a bunch of takeaway bags behind the door the cleaners missed, however it was no problem for me to put in the bin. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and bathroom was great. Staff were lovely and able to give a friendly chat and directions to the room."

"Great little stay in a quirky theme park. "

"The hotel was very good. Staff were helpful and the room I had was very clean with a very comfy bed. My stay in Mansfield was very enjoyable thanks to the very good hotel experience."

"Great breakfast, friendly welcoming proprietor."

"Clean room and friendly staff. Excellent location for walks and food."

"Absolutely wonderful reception, honestly the comfiest bed I've ever slept in away from home, and the shared facilities were excellent."

"Hotel in dire need of redecoration throughout. Carpets dirty, bathrooms tired, cleanliness debatable. If you're looking for 5 star accommodation this is not for you. More focused at the lower end of the scale."

"This was a scam. No email was ever received from the property with check-in instructions and they never responded to messages or calls. We ended up having to book different hotels and am trying to get a refund from hotels.com"

"no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes"
