"The hotel view was lovely and the sound of the waves crashing up from the patio was nice but this place feels more like a one star to me. There was zero wifi even though they claimed there was and the AC stopped working around 1230am. We woke up boiling hot and suffered until we left at 8am. I enjoyed the pool and the location but sadly would not be back."

"The room was outdated but very clean. There was no free air conditioning or safe to store important items, these were all extra charges which we thought was weird. Beautiful pool and location was very convenient and accessible."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."

"Good spot if you are on a budget. The rooms are a bit oudated but the bathroom is renovated. It is well located not too far from the kalamaki beach but i think could be a bit risky at night to walk back because it is dark and road is narrow cars arrive fast. Close to the little beach town and cute restaurants by the beach. We had a balcony with sea view. The pool is nice and clean. It said the bar and restaurant was open pretty much all day but we saw it open a few minutes one day over 3 spent...

"Nice and quiet location. No breakfast buffet, which was a bit disappointing (instead of buffet you choose from a short à la carte menu). Rooms were comfortable, included a mini kitchen if you want to cook yourself."

"Excellent as long as you don't expect 5 Star hotel for a good budget price. Everything we need, good kitchen & service, pool, children things and excellent host. Went out of their way re late check in, great communication all the way. Big and clean pool for a hotel rated two star, clean rooms, also good sun facing balconies"

Niki and all the staff were super-helpful and welcoming, without being intrusive. They kept asking if I needed anything, but everything you could expect from such a place was already there.
My room (apartment) was lovely, so nice to have a sofa and couch to sit on! And a balcony to watch over the town square.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Chania and very reasonably priced. Definitely a new jewel in the Old Town. Our first trip here and 48 Suites definitely made it a memorable one. You also get a bottle of Rakomelo and snacks as part of your welcome pack. The toiletries are of top quality. The host, Arirou (apologies if we spelt it wrongly) is such a lovely, very warm and hospitable person. She definitely went out of her way to make our stay so pleasurable - recommending...

We only stayed one night at Qualia Slowlife Suites, but it was absolutely perfect. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and exceptionally well appointed, with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.
Tucked away down a quiet side street in the heart of Chania’s Old Town, the location is ideal. Just a two-minute walk from the beautiful Venetian Harbour, with an abundance of excellent restaurants and cafés nearby.

Stunning property, down to the smallest details.
Location is excellent, you into a charming courtyard to get into the property.
As soon as you leave the property you’re in the old town but perfectly located to avoid noise from the busy streets, but have access to everything with ease.
Parking nearby is easy, and you’re near a local street market every Saturday. Some 10/10 brunch and coffee spots nearby.
The reception team were amazing so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

I stay here for four nights and found that hotel itself well maintained, clean and comfortable. All the staff that I spoke to were very engaging and wanting to help in whatever way they could.
The location is approximately 8 minutes to the bus station and 10 miniutes to the Old Town.
I travelled alone and even walking back to the hotel at night felt safe.
I would totally recommend this place.

We loved everything about Plaza 1866. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the Central Bus Station which runs an excellent service to the airport. Location is perfect for exploring Al parts of Chania. Once inside, the small hotel is an oasis of calm. Excellent service through and a quality room that surpassed our expectations for what we were charged.

Beautiful contemporary suite, immaculately clean, so impressed with the staff who went the “extra mile” positioned central in the old town of Chania, tavernas In abundance . Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Great stay! The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was spacious. It was a short walk to the port. There is an open market in front of the hotels on Saturdays, where I purchased some Greek honey and lotions. Overall, a great experience in a beautiful town!
