"We were so impressed by this hotel. We only paid around £60 and had a lovely clean, modern room with tea and coffee making facilities. The only negative I can think of is that the carpet is a bit threadbare in the corridors but that made no difference to our experience.
We were lucky to have a view over the lovely marina.
The staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Free parking very close by and bars and restaurants also very close.
I would highly recommend this hotel and I am just about to book...

"Das Holiday Inn Express Bristol City Centre by IHG liegt strategisch nah beim Bahnhof, somit kann man bequem über die Straße gehen und mit dem Zug u.a. nach Bath fahren; auch alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen nahe beisammen.
Trotz der stark befahrenen Straße vor dem Hotel ist es im Hotel selbst ruhig, also gut gedämmt.
Das Personal ist jung und sehr freundlich bzw. hilfsbereit. Man wird herzlich empfangen.

"Attention! There was NO hot water during the whole of our stay!
When I notified the hotel via a WhatsApp text, they told me that the boiler had broken down and they were going to fix it.
When I spoke to the person at Reception, he said that a technician was going to come in the morning, but there was still no hot water.
When I asked for compensation, I was told that they would get back to me, but they never did! Instead I kept on getting emails to rate my stay and/or to contact Costumer Service....

"Booked very short notice late in the evening and was greeted by a friendly staff member, who I had spoken to on the phone and advised where their free car park was situated, bonus for Chepstow. Linen etc was nice and clean as was the lovely new looking bathrooms. I realise an older property, but feel in 2026, could definitely do we a makeover, remove those horrible carpets, and stop the creaking floor boards, change your mattress's. Rooms need to be sound proofed as could hear a very loud TV...
