"Hotel Golden is in a great location, and the shared rooms have a very nice interior. However, there's one issue: at night, there's a gathering of Rajasthani boys outside the hotel, right below it, which is very inappropriate. They use very loud and abusive language, which is very disturbing for couples and families. Another negative point is that some of the hotel staff members, about one or two boys, seemed suspicious. "Property is good, but the rooms.. were decent. Not worth the price, though. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff at Regency Hall (restaurant) gave very good hospitality."

"The property was not well maintained. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were not clean. The service was pathetic. There was no water in the bathrooms. After repeated requests, they provided towels, water and soaps. We traveled with senior citizens and the experience was horrible."

"Great location on a quiet street but easy walk to main areas. Staff were super helpful organizing a bus to Udaipur and a lift to the bus station. He even waited to make sure I got the right one. Really friendly, clean and quiet hotel. Very happy with my stay as a solo female traveler. "
