"We have stayed at the Yakinthos at least 6 times over the last 20 years. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach and numerous restaurants. Lovely pool area. "We couldn’t have dreamed of a better location and view from our balcony! This is close to many restaurants and shops. Yannis at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. This is old but wonderful. If you are expecting something perfect and new do not stay here. "The property a was great except for a couple of minor things. We were on the third floor and carrying luggage up and down the spiral stairs wasn't fun and the shower was not very roomy. Other than that we loved our room with an outside patio view of Old Chania. The gentleman (I forgot his name but he either owns it or ran it) that checked us in was extremely friendly and informative. We would definitely stay there again if/when we ever go back to Chania. "
