"Room was okay, bathroom needed updating, staff lovely"

"Food was well cooked would recommend the Mixed Grill to anyone. Breakfast was first class. Bedroom was more than adequate TV easy to use as was the shower in so many hotels showers are so difficult to work out. The reception staff were really friendly and efficient"

"Really friendly, helpful staff in the hotel & pub in the evening & at breakfast. The breakfast & evening meal were “spot on” & I’d happily stay here again"

"Would gladly stay here again. Nice room, plenty of parking and helpful staff"

"Spacious, clean and good value for money"

"The staff were ok. The room was like going back in time. The furniture was discoloured and very dated. The bathroom was not great. Very disappointed with the breakfast. The photos show a nice continental breakfast but in reality you get some toast with jam or cereal with tea or coffee The rooms are not soundproof and we had some very loud ladies in the next room that decided to shout until 2am so no sleep for us All in all we would rate our experience a 2 out of 10 and that is being generous...

"Always a friendly welcome. Every effort made to have room ready when I arrived early."

"New owners recently taken over. They’ll get it exactly how they want it. Already excellent customer service, lovely clean rooms and bathrooms. Outstanding breakfast. They’re sorting some little things out. Do enjoy it."
