"Stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were excellent and so so friendly, felt very welcome from we checked in till we checked out. We stayed with our dog and 2 year old son. Food was excellent and fresh, plenty of parking and great location with stunning views"

"Dosent have a residents bar. The room was cold i had to turn heating on. Not much in the bathroom. No toiletries only shower gel. We were told where the breakfast room was but were left to make out own way in and seated ourselves. "

"The hotel is under new ownership and currently undergoing major renovations. Our room recently painted was OK - limited renovation scope. However, we had a comfortable bed with new clean bedlinen. Bathroom clean and bright but old fittings. The major area for improvement was the restaurant which was totally under going renovation was the restaurant - we had breakfast in a room that was essentially a building/decorating site. The food was of poor quality and inedible. We left without taking breakfast. Whilst the hotel is clearly trying to improve itself and will no doubt be better in future, for us the lack of upfront disclosure of the true state of works was very disappointing. Had we have known this, we would have selected another property. Receptionist was friendly and polite but not really able to affect any of the issues. "

"Room was very nice large with good sized ensuite. Wouldve been 5 star if mattress was a better one was very unsupportive felt lacking in substance. Also ceiling lighting in room was a bit dark. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Love Ruby the parrot. "
