"The location and staff along with a comfy bed and room made staying near the monkey forest a very good choice in Ubud. The Bali Bohemia restaurant was also excellent food and other food options on the street made for a convenient stay. The monkeys were the only thing that made it interesting trying to steal our shoes and harassing us. But you are staying in the monkey forest if you choose Bali Bohemia "

"Gorgeous private villa just off Bisma Road, very central, only noise was from a bar opposite but not every night and only til 10:45pm. We loved the private plunge pool after a hot sticky day sight-seeing. Lovely upstairs lounge with balcony. "

"I booked this location because on GPS it seemed walkable. The road from the main road is really steep, and I would not say it is walkable to the main. The area around the property is very nice walk in the rice fields. There are a few nice big restaurants near by, and its wonderful to see fireflies at night. "

"I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito...

"A nice boutique hotel near a great restaurant if you’re feeling lazy to go into town (Ubud green). Great selection of food to get from there. The bed was comfortable. Nice room. Overlooks the swimming pool. Clean facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. My only issue was the smell from the washroom/ shower. I think the sewage or plumbing needs work. Otherwise, great hotel that’s affordable and close to town."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Junungan! Everyone was so kind and helpful. They reached out to me a few days before we arrived to arrange a pickup from the airport. The breakfast was delicious every morning with quite a few options. The location is a little bit out of the main area which makes it very peaceful. "Great staff. A real open lobby, a beautiful large bedroom with patio. Wake up to monkeys around you since you’re next door to the Monkey Forest ❤️. The pool is incredible and so is the breakfast and massage areas. You feel like you’re in the jungle but 2 minute walk towards the lobby and you’re on the Main Street. Great location. All staff smile and great you all day long. You’ll love it 👌"
