The grounds were well maintained with very nice landscaping. The two swimming pools were brilliant, warm, clean and not crowded. "When we booked for a night we were conscious that the hotel is a relatively no frills place (a bit dilapidated, simple furniture, but clean) and expected no luxury. What we also not expected in our room was a continuous very noisy sound of water streaming through pipes (a problem with the airco piping ? a lack of noise insulation between the room and an adjacent technical facility ?).
