"This is an older hotel so had its share of creaky floorboards etc. We found it to be excellent value - room was fine, breakfast buffet really good. In centre of town so handy for walks along the front etc. Would definitely choose it again."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
