"I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us. They were very confused at first and did not know how to handle the situation. One man was very unfriendly."

"For the money it is a good location. Not far from Paraa where it is 3-4 times more this hotel ot is a bargain. With little improvement could be a super deal. Even so it is a good deal. "The Paara Safari Ladge is great choice when visiting Murcheson Falls National Park...easily one of the best in this remote area. But be careful when you book your room to make sure that it has air conditioning if that is important to you. (It's very hot at Paara). Even though I had a copy of my booking with Hotels.com that clearly stated that I hadn't paid for an air conditioned room, it required 30 minutes of arguing and a call to hotels.com before they would give me the room I had paid for....
