"This hotel was absolutely lovely in every aspect. The staff were so nice and friendly. They were so warm and welcoming . We loved the shower in the bathroom, really powerful and plenty of space. The room was spotless . I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The bar was great , food was delicious and the breakfast was by far the nicest full Irish we have had in a long long time."

"First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. "Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin."
