"The location is secluded and appears a little remote but is good as it is half way between Penneshaw and Kingscote. We saw more kangaroos on the driveway to the retreat than on the rest of KI. The host lives on the property and is friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our 4 day stay. "

"New furniture in room was nice & bed was comfy , definitely need an extra blanket though . Kitchen wasn’t clean , light globes need replacing , floors needed cleaning & outside was very dirty . Fantastic staff & food at the pub . "

"We stayed there for one night to catch the morning ferry. The property we originally booked is located at Baudin Beach which is 10 minutes drive to the ferry. Luckily, we got upgraded to another property in Penneshaw which is only 2 minutes drive to the ferry. This property is much bigger and a lot nicer. We love the smart TV that allows us to logon to our Netflix account. The kitchen has everything we need for cooking our breakfast. Very happy with the stay."
