"This was the most expensive hotel I paid for during my Northern Nigeria trip. I paid 47 dollars and trust me, it wasn't even worth 50 Kobo. Torn beddings, a rag was offered to me as a towel and you simply can't use the A.C nor the heater till 12 midnight. Fuel issues is the reason given. Majority of the staff were friendly though but the facilities and ambience of the place when you get in is abysmally poor."

"Everything was splendid! In fact I think it’s under priced. They took their time to get everything single thing right. I hardly go to a hotel anywhere in the world and. It have a complaint. At Marshall I hade NONE! I’ll definitely make it my permanent stay whenever I’m in Kano. Kudos to the staff and management. And oh, their Chef is 100%! Don’t miss his meals for anything!"
