"Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well.
However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception!
The rest of the place was like an oven. It was awful and uncomfortable, just for this aspect alone.

"I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. "A 'fairly' modern hotel which is generally well decorated and furnished. Our room was quite comfortable, clean and with tea/coffee and tv. Reception on the TV was not good. Dinner at the hotel was tasty and well cooked as was breakfast."

"Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant.
Breakfast was busy but found a table, food ok, not as good as other brands, many items out when we had breakfast but staff working hard to restock but no fresh fruits, no pastries and juice me mostly empty.

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good.
What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly.
We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"Our room wasn t ready so after 45 mins we were given a different room but a double not the singles I requested
When went for breakfast there was confusion as they didn't t have us on the list.Sorted eventually
