"This place is absolutely perfect! I was looking for a quiet getaway to spend time reading and praying. If I needed to leave, this place is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. My room was well-designed and very clean. It felt like coming into a cozy cottage, with a luxurious shower! "Room was great for our trip. Ground floor pets. Easy in and out for check in and out.
Front desk staff was kind, informative and quick. The indoor pool wasn't the warmest but it's shape and style was very unique. Free on site laundry with nice washers and dryers was incredibly helpful after our long trip. AC could use an upgrade and filter needed replaced. Still worked well enough though. "Cabins are sufficient. Safety updates need to be made. The stairs to the cabins are uneven and have no hand railings. The price seems a bit high for the condition of the cabins. Guests have to carry out their trash."

"Great stay at The Custer House! The house was very clean. The multiple bedrooms were able to accommodate all family members. Great location in Custer and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were able to get an early check-in. And, we saw deer nearby. Excellent all-round! Thanks much!"
