"The residence is nice with great views of the lake and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our one recommendation would be to provide better basic essentials in the kitchen area. A large frying pan or cooking griddle would have been very helpful, and we actually bought and left a few kitchen scratch scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans. "

We could see the young deer walking in the river nibbling on the overhanging leaves and a heron fishing for his dinner. The home is small, but roomy and very open. "The cottage was perfect for our trip. The bunk bed with a trundle was great for the teens while the adults were comfortable in the other two bedrooms (we didn’t have need for the Murphy bed in the living room, but if we had a larger group, it was another sizable bed!
