"Overall a really great stay. Some signs of wear and tear but is to be expected from such an old and historic building. Breakfast was good. Room was warm but we did stay in a heatwave and the window did open and we had a fan so that made it slightly more bearable. The car park was full on arrival but we were lucky we arrived after on street parking rules ended so we parked on street and moved into the car park when there was a space. All staff we interacted with were lovely."

No designated areas in restaurant and one particular dog was allowed to sit on the bench seating unchallenged by staff , very poor management intervention! All bedrooms apparently “dog friendly!” Was not a nice experience and will not be returning. Finally, where was the pool and spa facilities ? Certainly not in the hotel!"
