"What a great hotel in Kanazawa ! Our plans were changed at the last minute due onto a typhoon directly hitting Okinawa where we were supposed to stay for 6 nights and we ended up in Kanazawa for 6 nights instead. We really loved the location of this hotel, everything is walkable it’s very close to the station but also to all the e main attractions (market, castle park, the gardens et geisha and samurai districts, etc.). We booked a corner room and it was very spatious and very clean. The beds were a bit firm but comfortable with two choices of pillows. We had a pull out couch, where our baby slept. Breakfast was 4800 Yens for two adults. The buffet had lots of options (western & Japanese style). The only downside was that it’s located on quite a busy street and we would often hear loud cars and ambulances at night (even from the 7th floor) but nothing to stop us from sleeping. I would come back and highlight recommend it."

"Three adults shared a modern two room apartment. All futon beds but the second room was lovely, with tatami flooring a screen walls. A tasty breakfast was included. There was a washer-dryer in the room, but the dryer function was not great and we ended up hanging clothes over the dehumidifier. Full aircon was much appreciated with the humid weather. Handy to Kanazawa castle and gardens as well as an easy walk to the local market. Less than 20 min walk to both Higashi Chaya Geisha and Nagamachi Samurai districts, as well as the train station. Plenty of konbini options nearby too."
