"The reception, house and dining staff were lovely.
However the room was dated and in need of some investment in the building fabric. Windos propt open with wooden dowels, taps you have to rotate a few times before you get any meaningful water out (both hot and cold). The mixer tap in the bath for showers had a nut missing to hold the handle from coming off in your hand. Same problem with getting water as per the sink. No thermostat control so temperature fluctuates constantly. Fan in the room...

"The room was good in size and decor , garden room suite.
We were on the ground floor the room above us you could hear everything even the person snoring , the floor must have been floorboards and we could hear everything, This woke us up and continued throughout the morning!"

"A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. I booked a room at the back with a balcony overlooking the river and the view was wow! On the hottest Bank Holiday for years, I left the French doors...

"It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return."

"The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!"

"This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options.
However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."
